“Oh my gosh! You, your band, and Kevin were just wonderful! I can not tell you how happy Ed and I were with your wonderful performance. So many of our guests came up to us and raved about you! A hundred thousand thank-you’s! If you ever need a reference, especially for people like me (who was just a little apprehensive), please do not hesitate to give them our number. I will be HAPPY to let them know how successful you made our reception! Thanks Kim!!!!! We will be calling you for future weddings!!!!!”
Halloween is here and what’s a better way to celebrate your love of horror and your new beau than with a frighteningly good wedding reception? There are so many ways to take this scary idea. You can walk down the road less traveled with a gothic or dark theme. Think candles and candelabras, black lace and elegance. Pick your favorite goth theme songs. Or maybe you and your significant other would prefer something a little more light-hearted? Try a more mainstream Halloween theme with black and orange and pumpkins. Choose tunes like the Monster Mash! No matter how dark you get, this wedding theme be sure to shock guests!

Joe Peraino, Event Producer and CEO of Lorio Ross Entertainment, is currently planning an epic super hero themed party for New Horizons. Capture this idea for your next corporate event! New Horizons’ guests will enter the event by walking into the Hall of Justice, complete with lights and draping. After entering, employees will embark on an adventure of a lifetime! They will see Wonder Woman and Captain America walking around and posing for pictures. There will be tables draped in bright super hero reds, blues and golds. Huge Kryptonite center pieces will light up each of these tables. A photo booth will be available so guests can snap pictures with their closest friends. If that’s not enough picture taking for you, there will be a digital photographer taking pictures in front of green screens. You can stand in Gotham City, next to Superman or be on an magazine cover! Drinks will be served over an custom made ice bar with two ice luges coming down the sides. Arcade games, tattoo artists and laser tag will be available as well. Instead of seeing the bat symbol in lights, you’ll see the New Horizons logo flashing around the ceiling. Other decorations include super hero cut outs and tons of pipe and drape. Finally, the grand finale will include a super hero flying down to the stage via a zipline!
You can have events like this for any theme at any venue. So many vendors will accommodate whatever colors you request! Think of the possibilities with linens, arcade games, photographers, models and entertainment. Your choices are endless, so plan your next corporate party today!
“Well – it’s been a little over a week since Dayna and Raphi’s wedding and we wanted to thank you yet again for your contribution to a wonderful wedding day. The band was terrific and kept the crowd on their feet all night. You were wonderful to work with and weren’t even the least bit fazed by our last minute turn of events – (needing to change from female to male vocalists). ( Or, if you were you didn’t show it!) The guys were great – just like you said they’d be and the music selection was just the right mix of fast and slow. You and Avy worked together seamlessly and it all added up to the perfect accompaniment to a perfect day. My only regret is that we don’t have any more weddings on the horizon for you to play at!”
Thank you again for everything,
We found this awesome Wedding Playlist site and we especially loved their cutting the cake song selections. Here’s what they suggest:
- How Deep Is Your Love – Bee Gees
- Sweetest Thing – U2
- Build Me Up Buttercup – The Fountains
- Cut the Cake – Average White Band
- You’re My Best Friend – Queen
- From This Moment On – Shania Twain
- Sugar, Sugar – Archies
- Footprints in the Sand – Leona Lewis
- How Sweet It Is – Michael Buble
Adding arcade games to your corporate party (or any other type of party) is a great way to get guests to loosen up and have fun! Everyone there will be forced to mingle in an environment that’s fun and inviting. Think fooseball, pool, air hockey , wii games and any classic arcade game. Another awesome aspect to this party favor is the fact that arcade games come in all shapes and sizes. Have a unique theme? There is most likely an arcade game that goes along with it.
“A lot of people think that arcade games are just for kid parties or for events that aren’t serious,” explains Joe Peraino, Event Producer and President of Lorio Ross. “But that simply isn’t true. Parties are supposed to be fun and that’s what these games bring. I’ve always gotten rave reviews after bringing arcade games into the picture.”
Don’t be afraid to branch out and make an arcade game room at your next corporate event!
“Jenn and I wanted to shoot you an email and tell you how much we enjoyed the band at our reception. It was entirely the band that made the reception a blast (and maybe a little due to the alcohol!). We received so many comments from people about how much they loved the band and how much fun the reception was. We actually heard from a number of people that it was the best wedding that they had ever been to (and no it wasn’t their first wedding!). We attribute so much of that to the show that you put on, we wish we could have gone for a couple more hours b/c the dance floor would have been completely packed for as long as you were playing. Then the fact that we ran into a lot of the band at the bar afterwards and they came over and hung out with us. We couldn’t have asked for more. The only thing that I regret is that you didn’t have dinner with us at the reception, we even put you at the most important table, The White House. Thanks again for everything.”
