L’USA Wedding Review

“I just wanted to thank you for a wonderful evening of fun music at our daughter’s wedding. I hope you enjoyed playing as much as we enjoyed you.  Everyone thought you all were just great, and we enjoyed working with you as well.  I hope that the next time we need a band that you will be available!”

Harry Potter Themed Wedding

Last week we wrote about having a Twilight Themed Wedding and today we are here to round out the fantasy-movie-themed wedding ideas with our take on a Harry Potter wedding. Butter Beer, chocolate frogs, goblets, rich colors and magic wands. You get the idea. Throughout the many, many Harry Potter books you can find ideas to fill your reception up with a real Hogwarts feel. Once again, as with any theme, you can go all out and get serious with Gryffindor place cards and flying owls. Or you can keep the magical feel of Harry Potter and keep things simple. It’s all up to how much you love HP! We recommend using songs from the Harry Potter Soundtracks and getting creative with other wedding tunes that have to deal with the subject. Let the magic begin!

“I wanted to thank you for playing at our wedding. We had an amazing time and the music was great. People raved about the band and you had everyone out dancing until the lights came up. I think the music really can make or break a reception and you made our one nobody will ever forget. Thank you for handling everything and making it a perfect night.”

Jerry Ross Band Wedding Review

“It was a pleasure working with you and The Jerry Ross Band. You made our wedding day absolutely unforgettable. The dance floor was full the entire night and we had such a wonderful time. You did an excellent job playing to the crowd with the choice to play the Hora and Polka. By the countless number of compliments we received by guests, I am certain that everyone enjoyed themselves as much as we did. Thank you very much for making this a time that we will always cherish.”

Twilight Themed Wedding

Twilight is one of the biggest book/movie series to hit the market in the past few years. Bella and Edward’s wedding was one of the most anticipated weddings of the season. Why not make your wedding just like your dream character’s special night? This Bella wedding hoopla started when her engagement ring was revealed and jewelers started making replicas for fans to purchase. Now there are tons of ideas everywhere of how to make your day just like hers. Think darker colors, reds and a vampire-y atmosphere. Think glamorous and nature filled. Think of a romantic venue. This theme is so fun and can be taken to the extreme or just have a few Twilight accents to it. You can keep it simple and just have a black and red color scheme with a few Twilight songs played throughout. Or you can go all out and incorporate everything that Twilight has to offer. Here are some wedding songs to help you along:
