Twilight Themed Wedding

Twilight is one of the biggest book/movie series to hit the market in the past few years. Bella and Edward’s wedding was one of the most anticipated weddings of the season. Why not make your wedding just like your dream character’s special night? This Bella wedding hoopla started when her engagement ring was revealed and jewelers started making replicas for fans to purchase. Now there are tons of ideas everywhere of how to make your day just like hers. Think darker colors, reds and a vampire-y atmosphere. Think glamorous and nature filled. Think of a romantic venue. This theme is so fun and can be taken to the extreme or just have a few Twilight accents to it. You can keep it simple and just have a black and red color scheme with a few Twilight songs played throughout. Or you can go all out and incorporate everything that Twilight has to offer. Here are some wedding songs to help you along:

Sports Themed Weddings

You and your fiance’s first date was at a baseball game or your both hockey’s biggest fans. Let your sports love shine on your wedding night with a sports themed wedding. You can go crazy with decorations, jerseys and even at the venue. The colors – from flowers to table cloths – can be those of your favorite sports team with logos and sports equipment everywhere. The groomsmen could even wear jerseys instead of tuxes. Choose a venue that screams whatever sport you want to identify with. An outdoor wedding would also be ideal for this idea. For food, you can have fun with hot dogs, nachos and beer. Now for your wedding music. Choose songs that are usually played at your sporting event or for your team. Take Me Out to the Ball Game for baseball and so on. Also just think about songs that are usually played at sports games, classics that don’t necessarily have to do with sports. Here are some sports wedding songs that we dug up – we added some of the most popular ones from Detroit sports at the end:

  • We Are the Champions — Queen
  •  Sweet Caroline –- Neil Diamond
  • We Will Rock You — Queen
  • Final Countdown — Europe
  • Eye of the Tiger — Survivor
  • Remember The Name — Fort Minor
  • Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye –- Steam
  • The Boys Are Back in Town –- Thin Lizzy
  • Take Me Out to the Ballgame –- Tin Pan Alley
  • Let’s Get Ready to Rumble –- Jock Jams
  • All-Star –- Smash Mouth
  • Life Is a Highway — Rascal Flatts
  • Hey Hey Hockeytown –Kid Rock
  • Blur — Song 2
  • Detroit Rock City

Don’t forget brides, sports aren’t just for the grooms!

L’USA Wedding Review

“Everything was fabulous about the music!  We have had so many compliments on the band/music and the true testament is that the dance floor was never empty all night! You did a fantastic job of it and we really appreciate it:-)

The only complaint that I have is that it went by way too quickly, of course, but we do have plenty of documentation of the evening which will help us to remember all of the fun times.

Thanks for the note, and phone call Gary, and everything else that you and your team did to make the evening run so smoothly and be so much run!

I need to plan another event for next year now:-)

Kristin and Tom are on their way to the airport now for their two-week honeymoon.  They had a ball at their own wedding!”
